Privacy policy
Last updated 23 September 2026
This notice covers this website. Your Betsuna player account is covered by the account privacy notice shown when you register, which explains how identity checks, payments and gameplay data are handled. We have written both in plain English; where a legal term is unavoidable, it is explained where it appears.
Who is responsible for your data
The controller of personal data collected through this site is ProgressPlay Limited, registration number C 58305, Malta, trading as Betsuna. For anything related to your data, write to our privacy team. Messages go to the people who handle data requests, not to general support.
What this website collects
Very little. The site has no forms, no newsletter sign-up and no login box. It does not ask for your name, email address or payment details.
Server logs
Like any website, our host records the IP address, browser type, page requested, referring page and time of each visit. We use these logs to keep the site secure, spot faults and block abusive traffic. They are deleted after 30 days.
Your cookie choice
When you answer the cookie banner, your choice and the date are stored in your own browser, not on our servers. The details are on our cookie page.
Analytics, only with consent
If you allow analytics cookies, anonymous statistics such as pages viewed, time on page and device type may be collected. Nothing is loaded before you agree, and nothing is used to identify you.
Messages you send us
If you write to us, we keep your message and our reply so we can deal with your question and refer back to it if you get in touch again.
Why we use it and on what basis
| Purpose | Data | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Running and securing the site | Server logs | Legitimate interests |
| Remembering your cookie choice | Consent record in your browser | Legal obligation (PECR) |
| Understanding how the site is used | Anonymous analytics | Consent |
| Answering your questions | Your email and message | Legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal requests | Any of the above | Legal obligation |
"Legitimate interests" means we have a genuine reason to use the data, the use is limited to that reason, and it does not override your rights. You can object to it at any time, as explained below.
Links to the Betsuna platform
When you press Login, Register or Play you move to the Betsuna gaming platform. From that point the account privacy notice applies. The short loading page on the way passes along any campaign reference in the link so promotions are credited correctly. It does not read or store anything about you.
What happens on your account
For completeness, here is a short summary of the account privacy notice, so you know what to expect when you register:
- Identity and age are checked with credit reference and verification agencies, as the Gambling Commission requires.
- Payment details are processed by regulated payment providers; card numbers are never stored in full.
- Gameplay and transaction data are used to run your account, meet anti-money-laundering rules and spot signs of harmful play so we can offer help.
- Records are kept for the periods set by law, which for gambling and anti-money-laundering records is usually five years after the account closes.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf under a written contract that limits what it can do with them. We may disclose information if the law requires it, for example to the Gambling Commission, HM Revenue and Customs or the police, and only as much as the request needs.
International transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we rely on an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement so the data keeps the same protection it has here.
How long we keep it
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Emails: up to 24 months after your question is closed.
- Your cookie choice: until you clear it or change it through Cookie Settings in the footer. We ask again after 12 months.
Automated decisions
This website makes no automated decisions about you. On your account, some checks run automatically, such as age verification and the first screening of a withdrawal for fraud. Any decision with a significant effect, for example refusing a withdrawal or closing an account, is reviewed by a person, and you can ask for that review to be explained.
How we protect it
The site is served only over HTTPS with modern encryption. Access to logs is limited to the few people who need it, and every access is recorded. Security headers stop other sites from framing our pages or loading scripts we did not approve.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have data erased where we no longer need it;
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- receive data you gave us in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was done before.
Send your request to the privacy team and we will reply within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first so we never hand data to the wrong person. Requests are free unless they are clearly excessive.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This site is for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.
Marketing messages
This website sends no marketing. On your account, emails, texts and push notifications about offers are only sent if you opted in, and each channel can be switched off separately in your settings. Opting out never affects service messages about your balance, withdrawals or safety, which we are required to send.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Significant changes are highlighted on the home page for 30 days.
